Cotton Ball Tree Art

This is a simple tree art craft for kids to do. The craft itself doesn't take very long but you'll need to dye the cotton balls in advance as they take time for the color to set and to dry.

You will need:
About 20 cotton balls
Green construction paper
Green food coloring
Plastic baggie
Brown crayon or marker

Dye the cotton balls ahead of time by putting them in a small baggie filled with water and a few drops of green food coloring. Let them soak for a while, then remove and let them dry. Draw on branches of tree and glue the dry cotton balls on the branches for a cute tree!
